Marla is a senior media professional with more than twenty-five years experience in production, marketing, PR and social media. She is also an award-winning writer/producer/director whose career has spanned all areas of television production from creating and developing reality programing, covering news and entertainment, to conceptualizing and executing advertising, marketing and promotion campaigns for the major television networks, corporations and local TV stations.

Currently,  Marla is the Founder & Chief Brand and Creative Concierge of Dvin/Ideas, an agency dedicated to brand marketing, social media engagement and public relations.  She is a true hands-on professional behind the scenes as well as in front of the camera.  You can also find her on the red carpet interviewing celebrities and newsmakers for MingleMediaTV,, SFGate  as well as on the floor at conventions and conferences like Oracle Open World, CES, Blog World Expo, and NAB interviewing CEO’s, entrepreneurs and geeks!

Marla truly loves what she does for a living which converges with her “Life After Kids” personal brand as an empty-nester evangelist.  She is following her bliss reporting for her local Sherman Oaks Patch and doings a weekly chat show on MingleMediaTV  aptly titled: Life After Kids.  She is also on the Board of Directors of Social Media Club of Los Angeles.

Her other passions include being a self-proclaimed tech geek, traveling, meeting and connecting new friends and old, discovering the next sultry red wine, watching her two sons grow into manhood and cuddling with her three pups!
